Spatial Equity Data Tool

Map of New Orleans with color gradient showing where populations are over- and under-represented.

This tool uses data from the American Community Survey (ACS) to visualize neighborhood and city demographics and types of populations, and produce a neutral baseline. Once a user uploads their own data, the tool measures the levels of geographic and demographic representativeness of that data against the ACS data. This will show if user data is over- or under-representing certain groups or demographics in their data and allows them to correct for any exclusions.
