Mobility
The ways that people move around a city are becoming increasingly connected. The rise of ride-sharing, introduction of self-driving vehicles, increase in physical delivery of online orders, and emergence of app-based micromobility is dramatically changing cities. In this section we feature case studies, articles, white papers, and more to help city leaders understand this landscape and ensure efficient, equitable, and sustainable transportation systems.
Mobility and the Connected City
Through research, practitioner convenings, and public commentary, the Project on Mobility and the Connected City seeks to identify and advance solutions that address major issues such as transportation economics, data management and privacy, algorithmic regulation, user experience, and public engagement. The project brings together a diverse group of city transportation leaders, subject matter experts, academics, industry leaders, and practitioners in order to offer new and transformative policy approaches and innovations in urban mobility management.
