New York City has done participatory budgeting since 2012. After several years, many residents wanted to learn about the impact of participatory budgeting (PB) on their communities. In response, the Participatory Budgeting Project (PBP) developed an interactive map to display data on PB projects gathered through the NYC Data Portal.
