Land Access for Neighborhood Development

LAND Map

The Miami metro area has a high percentage of rent-burdened adults, and a lack of affordable housing. A team from the University of Miami Office of Civic and Community Engagement created a tool that maps land parcels, and allows users to explore where the more than 500 million square feet of vacant and underutilized land is located, and who owns it. The team hopes that this will spurn creative ideas to build new, affordable housing in the metro area.
