Iowa Bridge Conditions

This map provides a near-real time visualization of the condition of bridges in Iowa. Since we pull this data from our production system, it allows us to provide more timely information then what is submitted to FHWA each year. This map was initially designed for the 2017 legislature session to assist the Iowa Legislature in understanding the conditions of bridges in Iowa. The map was also rolled out publicly so our customers (drivers/taxpayers in Iowa) can see the conditions of Iowa's bridges to better understand the condition of bridges they drive on."
