GeoLOOM

GEOLOOM co>map is an online mapping tool that demonstrates how arts and culture is woven into Baltimore's neighborhoods and social fabric. The goal of GEOLOOM co>map is to insure that every Baltimore community receives the attention and support needed to establish and maintain livability throughout the city. GEOLOOM allows cultural institutions, businesses, and policymakers to foster a more equitable distribution of resources. Through outreach, they work with communities to use the tool to help gain access to funding and resources they need as well as display arts and culture in their community through crowdsourcing. They also work with funders, organizations, and city departments to see how their arts and culture resources are geographically distributed throughout Baltimore and where there are gaps where they can fill needs. Users can visualize community health by variety of indicators; (arts and culture, children/family health, crime/safety, cultural participation, housing and community development, workforce development, socioeconomic/demographics, sustainability
