Coronavirus in Indian Country: Latest Case Counts

Graph of new reported cases and deaths by day across Indian Country over time

While Native American communities have some of the highest rates of COVID-19 in the United States, the real rate is likely much higher, since Indigenous people are often undercounted or misclassified in records and data collection. The charts made by the UCLA centers and Indian Country Today aim to combat invisibility in the data and provide a more complete and accurate count; the data is also visualized by tribal nation and by state.
