Citizen Submitted Traffic Violations

The Newark Police Department is turning to crowdsourcing to help its officers crack down on traffic violations in the city. The department has created an interactive online map through which residents can report concerns like frequent speeding, pedestrian problems and intersections where cars often disregard red lights or stop signs. Other residents can vote on the locations mentioned, and the most reported concerns will be forwarded to NPD's traffic unit for increased enforcement.
