ACA Uninsured Map

This map shows the positive impact of the Affordable Care Act coverage by ZIP code and what the county stands to lose if the ACA is repealed or changed. King County made major efforts to sign residents up for ACA insurance and Medicaid expansion, as reflected in the 2016 portion. This map, along with service-level and outcome data, helps them monitor ACA-related gains and vulnerabilities for King County safety net providers and clients. This map is used to make the case with local, state and federal officials about the potential impacts of repealing or replacing the ACA. It is also critical to show the equity impacts of health care insurance changes being contemplated by Congress.
