The Agentic City is a vision of a transparent, AI-assisted city operating model where public servants and AI agents work together to transform local government. Below is the practical framework for transforming local government using Agentic AI to create a city where intelligent agents, public employees, and residents work together to deliver more responsive, personalized, and trustworthy city services.

In the Agentic City, AI agents help residents and city employees alike in navigating permits, routing service requests across agencies, and guiding residents through complex processes end-to-end. The Agentic City does not replace workers, but frees them to work on the problems that require their intelligence, expertise, and experience. By replacing the century-old bureaucratic operating system built on paper files, agency silos, rigid hierarchy, and one-size-fits-all processes, the public will receive better services and city leaders will earn their trust.
